Wild West LLCCouples Counseling

Wild West LLC is a private practice solely dedicated to working with couples in Maine.

At Wild West LLC there are opportunities to engage in enhancing communication patterns and skills, approaching perpetual problems in a more mutually rewarding way, preparing for or adjusting to relationship milestones (moving in with each other, welcoming a child into the home, anniversaries, separation, etc.), prioritizing intention along with busy lifestyles for the betterment of your relationship to strengthen connection and more. Couples counseling is a place to express your goals and work with your partner to reach them.

You can expect a strength based, solution focused and trauma informed approach within a neutral environment. I infuse elements of Gottman Method Couples Therapy into my therapy work.

Wild West LLC holds great appreciation and respect for the beauty, hardship, and challenges found in pioneering journeys West and in relationships. At Wild West LLC, we provide in-person couples therapy in a neutral, confidential space where each partner can be heard and deepen their understanding of themselves and each other.

Both leaning in

Couples Counseling

Both partners are committed to the relationship, have few doubts about staying together, and share the goal of strengthening their connection. Counseling can help them improve communication, resolve recurring conflicts, rebuild trust, and develop healthier patterns that support lasting growth as a couple.

This shared commitment creates a strong foundation for meaningful progress. With both partners actively participating, counseling can help them better understand one another’s needs, deepen emotional intimacy, and work together toward a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.

Mixed agendas

Couples on the Brink(Discernment Counseling)

If you are unsure about staying in the relationship or making efforts to improve the relationship, Wild West LLC also provides Discernment Counseling. Discernment Counseling helps couples decide to maintain the status quo (postpone a decision), to separate or divorce (transition intentionally and with less conflict), or to commit to couples therapy (invest fully in repairing the relationship).

Designed to help mixed-agenda couples where one person is "leaning out" and the other is "leaning in" — interested in rebuilding the marriage.
